FUV won't charge and totally dead |

Hello and I hope everyone on this forum is going great!
I'm pretty sure Arcimoto is out of biz based on what I saw today which is a huge disappointment, so thank you to those that created this forum.
I've been charging my FUV on and off throughout the winter, even took it for a drive in February as well, however it's dead as a doornail now and won't charge. It recommends the 12v trickle charge to get a base in the battery and before I buy that charger is this the right course of action when this happens? 4/17 - I ordered the charger but still looking for feedback.
Thank you in advance to anyone that can help!
Steve

I tried to start my FUV and it has power both 12 volt and HV. BUT - the HV System warning display is showing and it will not run.
I have tried to call, email and go to website but it looks like they are now out of business. I live in Eugene, OR. Anyone know anyone I can contact to get help?

The Barkimoto? |

There was one youtube video where an add on "platform" (jokingly referred to as the barkimoto-looked a little like a motorcycle side car but bolted straight onto the frame of the arcimoto) was shown for the arcimoto to give your pet (i.e. dog or other small four footed beast) a place to ride on your arcimoto. I'm saying that's something I'd be up to purchase and wondering if it's still something they're going to release at some point. At least with two seats fido can be strapped into the back seat but that takes up the other human seat in the process. I'm planning to get doors just because I think it would be safer for a pet in the second seat but that platform seems like a really good idea other than it will make the vehicle a little bit wider I'm thinking.

Hi. My 12v light is always on. I've had two battery replacements and the breaker reset has been done multiple times with no success. Any insight? Thanks, Jim.
PS Can anybody tell me the specifics on the 12v battery in case I have purchase an aftermarket replacement? Thx.

Hi all
I'm an old retired chick living in north carolina looking to get an arcimoto.
I've talked to a couple of electricians about installing a 220V outlet that the Arcimoto can charge from. I don't know if it's just that no one is familiar yet or they're trying to make me feel like an idiot so they can pad the bill. I've been telling them class two EV plug 220v at 30 Amps although reading here it sounds like the arcimoto never actually draws anything close to the 30 Amps for safety reasons which I can understand. I'm a reasonably technologically educated person at least with 110 and 12v and 5v as I build computers but must confess I don't know much about 220v and it sounds like there are a myriad of different plugs which I sort of knew from some past experiences with household devices.
I just talked to two electricians today one didn't ask a lot of questions gave me a price of 1100.00 which seems a bit high. The second guy wanted to do a little more research on the Arcimoto because he wanted to be certain of which plug, said it was probably a "650" which I don't know that reference. So I'm in here looking for the proper jargon to present to the electricians when I talk to them about an outside mounted plug for my toy. All help appreciated.
