I've noticed over the past couple of days that email notifications to thread posts are being delayed anywhere from 4 to 12 hours. I'm not sure why this is happening yet, bit I'm working on it.

Arcimoto was well represented at the September 15th National Drive Electric event in Lincoln City which was in association with the Cruising the Bay Car Show.  I brought Goldie (formerly known as Yellow) and Rick, Dallas and Jackie from Arcimoto were there with Orange.  Goldie was awarded the 'Cruisin the Bay' Best Alternative Fuel Vehicle at the show.  She beat out a bunch of Teslas (Sorry Elon), a few Toyota plug in Hybrids, a Bolt and a Smart fortwo Electric.





It was a great event.

So... yesterday Uber service launched in Eugene, and apparently, the first Uber ride left from the AMP, accompanied by a whole convoy of FUVs. A brief video was posted to Twitter:

Does anyone from Arcimoto still watch this forum?

I think all of us with reservations are constantly wondering how production is progressing.  It's unreasonable to expect Arcimoto to constantly write little articles to fulfill our desire to know what's going on, but I wonder how hard it would be for Arcimoto to put a simple counter on either their FB page or website that showed a running count of the total number of completed FUV's?  Could this be automated and tied to their inventory records?  I wonder if Arcimoto would be willing to consider this?  I, for one, would be fascinated watching the numbers climb & also tracking the slow increase in rate of production from what seems to presently be 2 or 3 per week to their eventual daily production goal.

The last paragraph mentions a potential price increase over the original $11,900. Anyone heard of this? Is this a deal breaker for anyone?

My goofball four-year-old got to sit in some Betas today.

My oldest son and I visited the Arcimoto display at Market Fest today, and wow what a treat! They had the blue Beta FUV that was featured in the last update video, along with two others that just rolled off the line this week! I asked how many they had finished and the employee I talked to had lost track.



The other blue one is painted with that fancy paint that changes color when you move around it. It's really slick!



The visible changes to the Betas are mostly cosmetic. The protruding headlights were tacked on to make the Betas compliant with federal motorcycle regulations and are not intended as a permanent solution. The positioning of the front turn signals have been adjusted for better visibility.



Under the hood, improvements have been made to the power steering and the suspension, as well as minor tweaks to, well, just about everything else.

It was a blast to see these! I can't wait to rent one.
